A brutal kick to the head and the end... Walk loses to Pereira again!

The much anticipated UFC 303 tournament took place today, where champion Alex Pereira and Czech fighter Jiri Prochazka clashed in a rematch in the main event. The tournament also featured Slovak heavyweight Martin Buday, who defeated former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski on points.

Before the main event, the crowd was treated to another preliminary bout, which was originally scheduled to feature Brian Ortega and Diego Lopes. However, this fight did not take place because Brian Ortega came down with a fever. Just four hours before the fight was to start, Dan Ige accepted the challenge, but failed in the bout and lost on points.

Then came the long-awaited rematch between the Czech fighter and Alex Pereira. The first round was cautious from both sides, but the Brazilian champion was more active and landed more punches. Just before the end of the round, Poatan hit Jiri with an inconspicuous but hard punch that sent him down. Although he survived the first round, he did not have a good start to the second round. Pereira kicked Procházka in the head right at the start and sent him down again - but this time the Czech fighter didn't get up and referee Herb Dean stopped the fight.
