"A bittersweet victory..." Ales Lamka evaluates his position at the races in Poland

During last season Ales tried to win a professional card in the NPC federation, which he failed to do. This year he plans to fulfill his goal of becoming a professional bodybuilder and then try to fight his way to the Olympia, which is of course every bodybuilder's dream.

That's why Ales entered the Champions Cup Pro Qualifier 2023 in Poland last weekend to fulfill what he promised and to get the aforementioned Pro card and become a pro in the NPC federation. Unfortunately this didn't happen and Ales ended up taking second place in his category, just like last year. The Lamky division was dominated by the local Pole Piotr Jablonski, who still did not get a Pro card, as Maciej Nabagło became the overall champion in the Classic Physique category.

František Krčil also competed alongside Lamka in Poland, who eventually took the bronze medal. Aleš's road to the Olympia is getting longer again and we will see if he will be lucky enough to become a pro this year or he will have to wait again.

"Bittersweet victory... Unfortunately, his life form was not enough again. In the same place, a year later, 2nd place again. I'm going somewhere to shed a tear and in 14 days I'll try to get revenge with even better form." wrote Ales after the race.
