Fantastic Hunter Labrada shows his form 14 weeks before his pro debut!

Hunter Labrada, son of 1989 and 1990 Mr. Olympia silver medalist Lee Labrada, wanted to make his professional debut at the 2020 New York Pro.

However, the competition, originally scheduled for May 16, was postponed to August 8, 2020 due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.

But Hunter didn't want to wait any longer, so he chose a different competition for his pro debut, the Wings of Strength Tampa Pro 2020 in July/August. At the time, he didn't even know that the organizers of the New York Pro 2020 had decided to push the date of the event back to September 5!

At the moment, it is still unclear whether the possible qualification date for this year's Olympia Weekend, which is set for August 30, will be postponed. If this does not happen, the athletes in New York will be fighting to qualify for Mr. Olympia 2021!

And since Hunter wants to fight on the Mr. Olympia stage this year, he'll have to compete in a different event than the previously scheduled New York Pro, even if he doesn't want to.

Below you can check out his current form 14 weeks before he steps on the podium.

Posing a round after training push today! Sitting at 14 weeks out from Tampa, and 19 weeks out from the new New York Pro date. Body weight was 259 fasted, and 265 post training. - - Training is at an all time best right now. Every training session I have I set new personal bests, my body feels very fresh and healthy, and I’ve been deadlifting AND squatting every training cycle for the last 4 weeks (5 day training cycle right now- push, pull, arms, legs, off) - Nutrition wise my food is still very high, and was bumped by @andrew_vu87 again on Monday. We are now eating 3 high days in a row, followed by 1 low day. Still eating just over 800g of carbs on the high day! - Cardio is still at zero right now?before anyone bitches about how lucky I am, keep in mind I was eating 7 meals a day, blending and drinking meat, and throwing up regularly from how full I was for my entire 9 month offseason. Some people suffer on prep, others suffer in the offseason??‍♂️ #wintheday #prodebut #teamlabrada #gasp #avufitness

In addition to the video, Hunter states:

Training: training is the best at the moment. Every workout I do, I set a new personal best.
My body feels very fresh and healthy. My current 5-day training cycle - is push-ups, pull-ups, arms, legs, rest.

Nutrition: nutrition wise, as I still have a very high carb intake. I now have 3 days in a row of high carb intake and 1 day of low carb intake.
I still eat a little over 800g of carbs on my main day!
