After the competition, Chris was interviewed by legendary bodybuilder Flex Wheeler. Bumstead revealed how it feels for him to become the Classic Physique king for the fourth time and how his retirement is going. Many have speculated that Chris plans to retire, but Bumstead himself has denied this.

"It's a damn good feeling. It's hard to explain, to be perfectly honest. It feels really good to be back here. It's a great feeling to be pushed by these guys; there were 59 of us on the stage, so let's give a round of applause for the amazing competitors in classic physique. This division is so exciting and I'm so grateful to be here this year and be at the top of it. They really pushed me to be the best I could be.

It's been a great year for me. There has been a lot of talk about my retirement, for whatever reason. But I'm not retiring. Don't worry, guys, I'm not retiring. I'm here. I love what I do. But I think it's beautiful that people think that."
