Dexter Jackson, Shawn Rhoden, William Bonac and Charles Griffen prepare for Mr. Olympia 2018
The most prestigious competition in the world of professional bodybuilding has been Mr. Olympia since 1965! This fact is not changed by the fact that at the end of last season Jim Minion, who was in charge of the professional part of the IFBB federation, and Rafael Santonja, who was the president of the amateur part, split up.
Thanks to this fact, a brand new professional division of the amateur section of the IFBB was created, which is called IFBB Elite Pro. Although it will have its own world championship, it will hardly approach the fame of the Mr. Olympia competition in the coming years.
That is why the eyes of all bodybuilding fans are still on the fighters who are preparing for the Olympia and who have something to offer at this competition. Dexter Jackson, Shawn Rhoden, and William Bonac are certainly among them. Not only this trio, but also the new face of the Olympia Weekend, Charles Griffen, are the subject of the following lines and attached material.
American professional bodybuilder Dexter Jackson is a seasoned fighter. After all, this will be his nineteenth appearance at Mr. Olympia!
Moreover, he has almost always managed to break into the Top 5, and in 2008 he even dominated the competition!
Dexter has worn a competition swimsuit twice this year, at the Arnold Classic and the Arnold Classic Australia, where he came second and third. This is also why he should be counted on to finish on top at Mr. Olympia.
Below you can see his chest muscle training done 12 weeks before the competition at the bodybuilding mecca Gold's Gym in Venice.

William Bonac will certainly be among the favourites for the top spot. He finished a great third place at last year's Olympia, to which he also added a triumph at the Arnold Classic this year!
The attached photo shows what kind of form William has 11 weeks before the Olympia Weekend.

Shawn Rhoden won't be one of those who should take a back seat in the results either, quite the contrary! Shawn was able to take third place in 2012, 2014 and 2015, and in 2016 he was only able to keep up with Phil Heth to take second place!

New to Olympia will be Charles Griffen, who scored a triumph at the 2018 Muscle Mayhem Pro early last month.
While Charles won't be one of the more prominent faces of the competition, he can certainly surprise.
He too, like William Bonac above, offers you a glimpse of his current phase.
