Dexter Jackson is still in great shape!
It will be almost two years since the legendary Dexter Jackson retired from racing. He chose the biggest bodybuilding show in the world, Mr. Olympia, for his last competition in 2020, where he finished in an amazing ninth place and proved to everyone that even at fifty-two years old he still has something to offer. This veteran has managed to stand on the Olympia boards twenty times and won once (in 2008)!

However, Dexter has managed to dominate a total of twenty-nine competitions in his bodybuilding career, nine of which he won at the Arnold Classic (Arnold Classic - 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013 and 2015, Arnold Classic Australia - 2015, Arnold Classic Africa - 2015 and 2016, Arnold Classic Europe - 2015).
Jackon commented on his departure as follows:
I thought long and hard about how I wanted to end my career. I want to be in control of my career for a long time, and I have been working hard and hard for a long time. I am still capable of winning any show I take part in, and in September I will give myself one last chance to win my second Sandow statuette. The Olympia is the best competition in bodybuilding, and I want my last sitdown to be on stage in Vegas against the best bodybuilders in the world! Mr. Olympia 2020 will be my last competition, so I hope all the people who support me will be here with me. It's going to be special!

Even though this great former bodybuilder has retired, he is still working out and his physique looks really great, even though Dexter is over 50 years old! One of the factors that keeps Jackson in great shape is his hormone replacement therapy, which he commented on as follows:
"Hormone replacement therapy is not just for men, it's also for women... As we get older, we start to see lower testosterone levels and hormonal imbalances that lead to lower energy levels, decreased muscle mass, weight gain, and less appetite for sex. Fortunately, with the right treatment, many men and women can see significant improvements in testosterone, progesterone, etc., which will help them live the life they deserve."
