David Henry, Jose Raymond, Samir Troudi, Derek Lunsford and Dwayne Quamina before Olympia 212 Showdown 2018
David Henry, Jose Raymond, Samir Troudi, Derek Lunsford and Dwayne Quamina will be among the fighters who will try to spoil James Lewis' last start in the under 212lb division at the 2018 Olympia 212 Showdown in mid-September, as Lewis attempts to claim his seventh consecutive triumph.
American David Henry was the first ever to dominate the event designed for fighters of lower competition weight. That was in 2008, when the maximum limit was 202 pounds. Since then, he has been one of the most outstanding fighters in this division.
Below, you can see a pair of photos that captured his form during Saturday's exhibition at the Duke City Classic amateur competition hosted by the PCA (Physical Culture Association).

Another American, Jose Raymond, has also been one of the best the under 212 pound division has to offer for some time. However, his career is coming to an end.
He has been plagued by knee pain for quite some time now, even having to undergo surgery on his left knee joint in 2016. He will then face another surgery later this year, during which he will have a left hip replacement. After that, according to his own words, he will not appear on stage anymore.
Jose talks about more than that in the video below. In it you will also learn, for example, that he considers his current form to be one of the best in recent years of preparation.

Samir Troudi is one of those who rely on the qualification rankings. The Swede currently leads that, and there's little chance of him being displaced by anyone else.
Below we offer you some photos showing his form 8 weeks before the event.

American Derek Lunsford, at the age of 25, will be one of the newcomers to the competition, but not an outsider! This is evidenced by his debut at this top event last year, where he managed to win a great fifth place!
His goal this year is not only to improve on that position, but to dominate the whole event! We will have to wait until the 16th of September, when the final round of the competition takes place in the early hours of the morning, to see if he can do so and spoil James Lewis' farewell to the under 212lb division.
For now, you can take credit for a few photos documenting his current phase.

Dwayne Quamina is another American who will be competing in the Olympia 212 Showdown. He earned his participation in this event by winning the 2018 Europa Phoenix Pro.
