Sasan Heirati shocked and dominated the Toronto Pro Supershow 2025! Full report
On the weekend of June 7 and 8, the Canadian capital Toronto witnessed one of the most dramatic and surprising editions of the Toronto Pro Supershow bodybuilding competition. In the electrifying atmosphere of the convention centre, the world's best athletes battled it out for prestige, prize money and, most importantly, direct tickets to the legendary Mr. Olympia 2025 stage. And there was no shortage of dramatic moments and unexpected twists.
The main story.
All eyes were on the Men's Open category, where home hero Regan Grimes was considered the clear favourite. He had the support of the crowd, huge muscle volumes and all indications were that he would go on to take the win. But bodybuilding is a sport where form decides on a single day, and that was confirmed this time.
Sasan Heirati took the stage in the form of his life. He brought a package of brutal muscle mass, garnet hardness and fitness that revealed details that perhaps no one expected from him. During the comparisons it became increasingly obvious that while Grimes looked massive, Heirati was sharper, fuller and his muscles had a 3D effect. In the end, it was this combination that the judges appreciated and delivered a shocking but well-deserved verdict: Sasan Heirati was the Toronto Pro 2025 champion. That left second place for a disappointed Grimes, and third place went to Hossein Kalateh.
