California Pro 2021 - Patrick Moore wins his second professional victory!

The last Saturday in May belonged to the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League California, and the California Pro 2021, where, quite rarely, only bodybuilders competing in the Open category got the opportunity.

On paper, Patrick Moore, who had already won here in 2019, seemed to be the strongest favourite for the triumph. His biggest rivals should have been the trio of Egyptians Mohamed El Emam, Hassan Mostafa and Mohamed Shaaban.

So it is not at all surprising that these four mentioned above stood next to each other at the request of the judges immediately in the first semi-final call, with the Moore - Shabaan pair posing in the middle of the line to duke it out for the win.

Shabaan was noticeably bulkier than Moore, who on the other hand benefited from an excellent physique! Besides, he also offered much more detail compared to his opponent.
El Emam and Mostafa were fighting for third place.

The victory, as it was in 2019, was finally enjoyed by Patrick Moore. He not only once again offered perfect body symmetry, lots of detail, and excellent posing, but also managed to work on his quadriceps, which used to be his biggest weakness!
With this triumph, he was able to qualify for Mr. Olympia again, where he would definitely love to make it into the top 10, just like he did at Mr. Olympia 2019!

The second place was taken by Mohamed Shaaban. He raced here noticeably more powerful and tighter than in the past, and even his posing and performance have undergone noticeable changes for the better. As the season continues, there is a real chance for him to make an appearance at Olympia Weekend this year!

Hassan Mostafa took third place, as he did at the recent New York Pro 2021. While he offered plenty of muscle, and very solid form, he loses out to his opponents with a body structure that is not one of the best.

Fourth place was earned for his performance by Mohamed El Emam, who came in for 5th place at the aforementioned New York Pro 2021. He continues to lead the qualification rankings for this year's Mr. Olympia.

Eddie Bracamontes still managed to break into the Top 5.
