Bodybuilder Ryan "Big Rig" Crowley suffers devastating injury in bench press

Training injuries are a common occurrence that simply belong to sports life. Those athletes who suffer only minor or small injuries can "breathe a sigh of relief", but there are also injuries on the scene that are really unpleasant or even affect the athlete for the rest of her competitive career.

One such injury awaited young up-and-coming bodybuilder Ryan "Big Rig" Crowley. He injured himself during a recent workout with powerlifter Larry Wheels in such a way that he devastated his pectoral muscle during an attempt at a bench press. And since Ryan competes in bodybuilding, which is all about aesthetics, this injury initially spelled the end of his career. The only way to save Ryan's career was to undergo surgery, which with rehab costs would have cost around $26,000! However, Larry was able to raise this money with the help of a GoFundMe page and Crowley was able to undergo the grueling 17-hour surgery.

Now all that's left to do is wish Ryan well for a good healing of his injuries.
