Big Ramy is going to take over Olympia again!

For two years now, the Egyptian professional bodybuilder Mamdouh Elssbiay, nicknamed Big Ramy, has been dominating the bodybuilding scene. He won his first title at the 2020 Olympia, and the same scenario repeated itself at the event last year.

In this year's edition, which will take place in December, this competitor will be on the podium again and we will see if he can capture another title. According to recent reports, this would be the penultimate Olympia for Ramy as he plans to call it a career next year. However, that is not what the bodybuilder is currently focusing on as all he is currently targeting is the December 15-18, 2022 date for Mr. Olympia 2022.

Which he confirmed in a recent interview with Dan Solomon:

"I was on the phone with Big Ramy today. I've seen some of his recent videos, heard rumors, read various reports, so I didn't know what to expect from the conversation. - We talked about life, family, and of course this year's Olympics. I was impressed with his intensity...his hunger...and his focus. - Before we ended our conversation, the best bodybuilder of our time paused and said, "Dan, I'll be ready. And I'm gonna win my third title. I'll show the world in December!"

It was nice talking to you champ, but you better be ready, there's plenty of other hungry champions out there who want your title!" posted Dan Solomon on Instagram.
