Anabolic steroids are to blame for the death of bodybuilder George Peterson!
On October 6, 2021, one of the competitors died right at the Olympia venue. Specifically, it was George Peterson, who competed in the 212lbs division. George, who qualified for Olympia Weekend by finishing third in last year's Olympia 212 Showdown, was found dead in his hotel room. Despite Paterson's trainer Miller performing indirect cardiac massage and artificial respiration, he was unable to bring George back to life.
Peterson's cause of death was unknown at the time of his death. It was all speculation. Recently, however, an official autopsy report was published revealing that the cause of death was sudden cardiac dysrhythmia due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease. The medical examiner further stated in his report that the use of anabolic steroids was a contributing factor.
"In view of the circumstances of death and after examination of the body and toxicological analysis, it is my opinion that the death of George Peterson, a 37 year old black male, is the result of sudden dysrhythmia due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease. The contributing factor is the use of anabolic steroids (Boldenone and Stanozolol). The manner of death is natural."

George turned pro in 2017. He has competed at Olympia three times and has finished an amazing third place each time. He also scored a win at the 2019 Arnold Classic. This puts Peterson among some of the best bodybuilders of today.
