A bulky 113.5 kilograms by the crown prince of the 212-pound division, Derek Lunsford

As we informed you at the beginning of this month of March, American professional bodybuilder Derek Lunsford, who is one of the biggest prospects in the 212lb division, has decided to change coaches!

Derek has decided to associate his future with the name of Hany Rambod, a trainer who has worked with such greats of professional bodybuilding as Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Dennis Wolf and Kevin English.
Derek's only hope for this collaboration is to finally win a title for the 212 Olympia winner.

If you don't think you've heard or read the name of this competition before, get used to it slowly but surely! The organizers themselves no longer use the original name Olympia 212 Showdown, and the shorter name, 212 Olympia, has taken hold.

Below you can see a video that shows Derek at his current bulk weight of 113.5 kilograms. Volume has never been a problem for Derek though, and he has always looked very presentable during his time there. The biggest challenges always came in the moments just before and at the competition, when his form was well behind that of his opponents. Will he be able to eliminate that disadvantage this year? Will he finally win his first title? We will find out on 7-10 October, when this year's Olympia Weekend, of which the 212 Olympia competition is a part, will take place.
