Product description Wolfberry Coconut oil virgin BIO
Wolfberry BIO 1l Coconut Oil is obtained by gentle processing of coconuts in the Philippines. The nuts are grown under a certified regime and the best quality fruits are carefully selected for the production of the oil.
Characteristics
After harvesting, the coconuts are peeled and the copra inside is grated finely. This produces a fine pulp which is then heated to a maximum of 42°C to evaporate all the water. This mass is then used to obtain premium quality coconut oil by cold pressing.
The typical characteristic of virgin coconut oil is that it is a white, more or less solid mass up to a temperature of around 25°C, depending on the temperature. Above this temperature, the oil becomes liquid.
Wolfberry virgin coconut oil has a delicate taste and aroma specific to coconut. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that although it contains almost 86% saturated fatty acids, these are processed directly into energy in the body and not into fat reserves.
Some examples of the uses of coconut oil include:
- It is heat stable up to 200° C, so it is excellent for frying, candy making, and hot dishes in oriental cuisines.
- It can be used as a substitute for regular cream or body lotion. It does not leave a greasy film and absorbs beautifully into the skin.
- It is perfect as a hair wrap as it can counteract hair breakage.
- Its pleasant scent and easy absorption make it ideal as a massage product. It will leave your skin incredibly smooth and supple.
- It is also great as an aftershave balm for hypersensitive skin and can soothe skin after sunbathing.
- For pets, it can help boost immunity and improve the quality of their coat.
