Product description Wolfberry RBD Organic Coconut Oil
RBD BIO Wolfberry Coconut Oil is obtained by refining the last fraction that remains after the previous pressing of the flesh of the coconut, commonly known as copra. After refining, which is carried out at high temperatures, the oil loses the properties of virgin oil, but gains special abilities such as not burning at high temperatures, being good for health by not containing trans fatty acids like animal fats, and further being:
- suitable for frying, deep-frying as it has a high smoke point (flash point, 210 °C)
- it is not hydrogenated and no chemical solvents are used in its production
- the melting point is 23-27 °C.
Unfortunately, many marketers pass off this BIO RBD oil as regular virgin coconut oil and inexperienced customers are often harmed by this misconception. However, it is easy to tell the difference. Refined coconut oil is deodorised during production, i.e. it is odourless. Unlike virgin coconut oil, which is typical for its coconut aroma.
