PROBIO15 is a complex product of top quality, which contains a total of 14 strains of so-called lactic bacteria commonly found in the intestinal tract and 1 strain of the yeast Saccharomyces boulardii. These strains are supplemented with soluble fibre, i.e. fructooligosaccharides and inulin (prebiotics). These are the most comprehensive probiotics (properly more like synbiotics, as the product also contains prebiotics) on the market, which have been produced in collaboration with scientists from Belgium who have years of experience with probiotic strains and are among the world's top. OTHER STRAINS AND BACTERIA

Other active strains are Streptococcus thermophilus, Saccharomyces boulardii and Bacillus coagulans. Streptococcus mainly inhabits the anterior part of the small intestine and creates acidic conditions for further colonisation. Saccharomyces Boulardii contains a mixture of special yeasts directed against undesirable bacteria. It is particularly useful when travelling and also for imbalances of intestinal bacteria, candida type problems, stress or exhaustion. Bacillus coagulans is a bacteria that inhibits the growth of pathogenic microorganisms in the digestive tract. It produces lactic acid in the gut and also an antibacterial substance called coagulin.

PREBIOTICS

Prebiotics are non-digestible oligosaccharides that stimulate the growth and/or activity of a particular bacterium or group of bacteria that have a positive effect on human health. Inulin, oligofructose, galactooligosaccharides and lactulose meet all the criteria of prebiotics. The target microorganisms for prebiotics are mainly bifidobacteria. Fermentation of prebiotics by probiotics in the colon results in the production of acetic, butyric, propionic acids, etc. This lowers the pH and inhibits the growth of pathogenic and putrefactive bacteria, and promotes the formation of intestinal protective mucosa.
