Omega-3 from a super-pure source - krill living in the ocean around Antarctica, where the world's cleanest seawater is found. Omega-3s are extracted using the Ecoharvest method, which minimizes unwanted catch when other marine animals are caught (as is common in fisheries, the most common source of Omega-3 products). The krill used to make Puhdistamo's Omega-3s live in the seas far from refineries and large shipping operations, so the resulting product maintains high purity. In addition, Omega-3s are in a natural phospholipid form that is natural to the body and therefore highly usable (comparable to eating whole fish).

The properties of omega-3 fatty acids are related to the overall physical and mental condition, and their correct ratio in the diet is essential for the proper functioning of the body. Omega-3 and omega-6 should be consumed in a maximum ratio of 1:5, ideally 1:2. Unfortunately, the realistic ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 consumption is about 1:15, which is a very risky ratio (too many baked goods, pasta, sausages, fats, generally industrially processed foods).
