^AstaPure® is obtained in a 100% natural way and without the use of any artificial substances. It is an astaxanthin extract from the red algae Haematococcus pluvialis, which is known as one of the most potent sources of this substance in the world. Astaxanthin has a distinctive red colour and is classified as a carotenoid, it is also the substance that gives, for example, salmon its pink hue. Astaxanthin Asta Pure® is produced naturally, in a closed eco-friendly environment in the Arava desert, free of contaminants and toxins. The algae is stimulated to produce astaxanthin by the natural sun of the Arava Desert, there is no artificial light or artificial heat source. Astaxanthin is unique in its structure, it is soluble in fat and water, so it is able to penetrate the cell nucleus and have a targeted effect (e.g. vitamin C cannot do this).
