Our Vegan Vitamin D3 comes from algae. Due to the northern origin of algae, where light is scarce, these algae have developed the ability to produce the nutrients it needs to grow, including high levels of vitamin D3.

Vegan Vitamin D3 contributes to normal muscular function and normal immune system function. It is a fat-soluble vitamin. Normally, vitamin D is formed in the skin by the action of sunlight. Better absorption of vitamin D3 is achieved by taking it with a diet containing fat (e.g. avocado) and taking vitamin K2 at the same time.

Each capsule contains the maximum safe daily allowable dose of vitamin D3 as determined by the State Institute for Drug Control.
