LAAKG is a supplement composed of the amino acid arginine, the building block of protein, and alpha-ketoglutarate, which is involved in the breakdown of sugar and amino acids. Both components can provide benefits to the body. Several studies have shown positive results when testing the effect of LAAKG on enhanced athletic performance, specifically in bodybuilding and sprinting, during short-term and high-intensity movements. This is because LAAKG has effects related to nitric oxide production and therefore on muscle pump. This leads to an amplification of training results. Also, this amino acid has effects related to the secretion of growth hormone. (see arginine for sports performance).
