Kevin Levrone Gold Glutamine, 300 Grams, Flavourless

Product description Kevin Levrone Gold Glutamine

Kevin Levrone Gold Glutamine supplies the body with this amino acid to improve cell regeneration and to synthesize protein and glycogen. It supports the process of supplying glucose (the main source of energy) to the muscles. It is one of the most common amino acids in the human body. During physical exertion, muscle cells deplete their glutamine stores. Increasing glutamine levels before training slows this process, allowing more muscle mass to be preserved.
Glutamine is a powerful antioxidant - it effectively reduces free radical levels.

Roughly half of the amino acids in muscle are made up of glutamine. However, only part of this glutamine can be produced by the body. Glutamine is always on the move in the body, which means that some is being created and some is being converted at the same time. This is why it is so important to take in the proper amount of glutamine with food. Research shows that bodybuilders and athletes should take 0.5 to 1 g of glutamine per 1 kg of their weight daily. This means that individuals weighing 80 kg should take 40 to 80 g of glutamine per day. This is why supplementing your diet with glutamine is important.
