Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2019 - another triumph for Cedric McMillan!
Sunday, November 3, was the second edition of the Wings of Strength Romania Muscle Fest Pro competition in Bucharest, Romania.
On the stage of the competition, which was held under the banner of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League, professional bodybuilders from both weight classes, i.e. both heavyweights from the Open division and their smaller, and especially lighter, colleagues from the under 212lb division, took to the stage. Representatives from both categories were battling it out for qualification to Olympia Weekend 2020.

Cedric McMillan was considered the favorite to win, having already secured qualification for Mr. Olympia 2020 with his triumph at the Fit Parade Pro Grand Prix in mid-October.
Cedric naturally lined up straight away for the first semi-final comparison with the top five of Juan Morel, Max Charles, Mohamed El Emam, Regan Grimes and James Hollingshead.
Although our Lukas Osladil also competed in the competition, he did not make it to the first comparison. He got his place "only" in the second one, simply because he was not as sharp as he usually is. This was due not only to the fact that Lukáš did not want to compete in Romania, but also because it was his eighth competition in the last 4 months! That's really a good portion, which is something that you can't help but feel.
Next to Lukas in the second comparison posed five Andrea Muzi, Marek Olejniczak, Daniel Toth, Sulaiman Altarkait and Mohamed El Emam.
In the end, it was the favoured Cedric McMillan who took the victory. The bodybuilder with a great physique offered excellent form here.
When asked why he was competing in the contest despite having already secured qualification for Mr. Olympia 2020, he replied that he was competing because he wanted to and where he wanted to. Moreover, every competition is a way for him to improve. Finally, he said that the financial bonus is also a motivation for him.
The second place went to Juan Morel, who was also in excellent form.
Third place was earned by Regan Grimes, who spent the whole of last season in the Classic Physique category. He offered not only very nice shapes, but also excellent final readiness and professional performance.
Fourth place went to the defending champion from last year, Max Charles. The fighter, who has a lot of muscle mass, once again paid for the fact that he just can't do it with final preparation!
James Hollingshead managed to break into the Top 5. He too, like the aforementioned Charles, has problems with timing his final form.
"Up to" the sixth place went to our Lukas Osladil. The eighth man of Mr. Olympia 2019, as mentioned above, has completed his 8th competition in 4 months, and his body is understandably tired, and to some extent on strike. So it's time to give himself a really well-deserved rest.

The massive Angel Calderón Frias easily took the overall triumph in the 2-2 division. He not only presented excellent form and decent symmetry, but also hard and full muscles.
Second place went to Sami Al Haddad, who also had not only a pleasing shape but also full muscles.
Third place went to Tomas Tabachar from Slovakia. Although he was in better shape on stage than Al Haddad, his muscles were not as full.
Moreover, Tomáš is taller than his opponents, so it is difficult for him to fit into the weight limit of this category. This fact has the effect of burning a considerable amount of muscle mass. And this is, of course, to the detriment!
Fourth place went to veteran Guy Cisternino.
Ashot Kagramanyan managed to break into the Top 5 on his debut, earning the right to move to Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League by winning the attached qualifying event outright.
Ashot boasts not only a large amount of muscle, but especially its 3D effect and plasticity.
