Vlastimil Kužel wins gold again - WUAP Balkan Open!

During the weekend of 12 - 13.10.2019 in Zadar, Croatia the WUAP Balkan Open deadlift and bench press competitions took place. These competitions were also attended by our competitors -Jan Křivka and VlastimilKužel. Both boys competed in bench press without equipment, Honzal in Open 125kg, Vlasta Open and Masters 110kg.

Vlastimil also recently took part in one of the most prestigious competitions ever - Mr. Olympia! These were held in Las Vegas. Our "Benchwarmer" won the competition and won a gold medal for the Czech colours!

Vlastimil Kužel dominated Las Vegas and won gold for the Czech Republic - Mr. Olympia!

Now back to the races in Croatia. Honza attempted 185kg (good lift) 192,5kg (no lift), 192,5kg (good lift), finally he got a great second place!

Vlastimil is a great fighter and that's why he competed in two categories, he dominated both of them! 1st place Open 110kg (lift 245kg) and 1st place Masters 110kg (lift 230kg)

This is how Vlasta commented on social media about the race:

A beautiful competition that I really enjoyed. I went 2nd category 1st place Open 110kg 245kg, 1st place Masters 110kg 230kg. Two categories in a row is really hard. Thank you for the TOP competition next time I will definitely come again. My only regret is that radekfilipi who had trained for the competition and with his performance would have had a sure box. We will all be in Brazil at the GPA World Championships.
