Vlasta won the first place in his category and also won the first place overall of all men benchpress RAW, with an incredible performance of 240 kg!

Let's see what our champion wrote about the competition:

The GPC Croatia CUP 2019 in Zadar gave me what I have been missing for a long time the desire to fight and prove more and more. If anyone thinks that it was an easy competition and I won it without a fight, they are wrong. There were big and ready benchers like @marijorukavina, @irfanmuhic and others. The best from the Balkans. For me @irfanmuhic won the competition because he came prepared and lifted 10 kg more than me. I won only because I weighed 20 kg less. This big, humble guy has no sponsors and doesn't cry anywhere. Yet he has results worthy of a professional. He saves all year to compete and do what he loves. Huge respect. I won over myself by fulfilling my goal for this competition and not embarrassing the Czechs with an absolute I didn't count on.

Soutěž GPC Croatia CUP 2019 v Zadaru mi dala to co mi už dlouho chybělo chuť bojovat a dokazovat víc a víc. Celý rok šetří aby mohl soutěžit a dělat to co ho baví??Obrovský respekt ? Já vyhrál sám nad sebou tím, že jsem si splnil svůj cíl na tuto soutěž a neudělal Čechům ostudu? s absolutkou jsem vůbec nepočítal?‍♂️ #gpccroatia #gpc #benchpressraw #benchpress #croatia #championship #ceskasila #odhodlani #motivace #czech #??

He then summed up the whole race as follows:

I didn't count on first place at all and I am glad that I kept my promise and gave my minimum. After 10 days of preparation I am satisfied. Everyone who knows me knows what I have been through in the last 5 months and it really hasn't been easy. Thanks to my sponsors for supporting me through this tough time and not having a way to reciprocate. So now I will repay you tenfold because I am a fighter and I will be as ready as ever for the World Championships. Thank you to my friends, family and everyone who supports me!

GPC Croatia Open Cup 2019 Zadar - 1.místo v kategorii do 110kg s váhou 107kg a 1.místo absolutně ze všech mužů benchpress RAW (bez vybavení) s výkonem 240kg. - www.extrifit.cz @extrifit.cz cz www.FV-Plast.cz FV - Plast, a.s. www.proteco-naradi.cz www.eaststore.cz @eaststore_underarmour www.extrifit-gym.cz @extrifit_gym @luckyboy_luke @vojta_koritensky www.hradec.hyundai.cz @hyundaihk @otikkkk Professional solárium Náchod www.lafabrique.cz @club_la_fabrique @leeoshek www.clubtrinity.cz @trinity_club_pardubice www.powercar.cz @powercarchiptuning Extrifit Power Team HK @powerteamhk
