Vitaly Ugolnikov at chest training before pro card fight

Alexey Lesukov and Andrey Skoromnyy. These are the names of Russian bodybuilders who, as amateur competitors, were big stars. When they headed to the pros, there were, of course, high hopes for them. Lesukov was even considered by many to be a contender for Mr. Olympia! But neither of them achieved any great results, and nowadays, as they say, not even a dog is barking after them.

That is not the only reason why the eyes of most Russian bodybuilding fans are on a new name, Vitaly Ugolnikov. This 25-year-old, and currently still weighing over 130 kilograms, bodybuilder, as you know from us, will fight for a transfer to the IFBB Professional League of Jim Manion at the end of November.

However, many other equally good bodybuilders, including his teammate Christian Figueiredo from Brazil, will stand in the way of his dream.
