Toronto Pro Supershow 2019 - The 9th edition of the competition was dominated by the well-prepared Jonathan Delarosa

Last weekend, on June 1st and 2nd, Toronto, Canada hosted the 9th edition of the Toronto Pro Supershow, which is held under the banner of the Jim Manion IFBB Professional League.

On stage, both fighters without a weight limit competing in the Open category and those competing at the 212lb weight limit competed in front of the judges.

Open Category:

A total of thirteen heavyweights were on stage, with Jonathan Delarosa, who dominated the Wings of Strength Yamamoto Nutrition Puerto Rico Pro a week ago, considered the best candidate to win.

So it's no surprise that it was Delarosa who appeared immediately in the first semi-final call-up alongside the trio of Iain Valliere, James Hollingshead and Josh Wade. However, James Hollingshead didn't exactly put on his best form for this event, and so the judges began to move him lower during the semi-finals.
The pair of home fighters Joe Seeman and Quinton Eriya were on the other hand.

The first semi-final comparison:

Jonathan Delarosa was declared the winner by the judges, and he showed even better form at the competition than he did in Puerto Rico. Many were not even afraid to call it a lifetime!
In fact, Jonathan not only offered excellent sculpting and muscle separation, but also bulging lower back and glutes, something not seen in him in a long time.

The second place went to Iain Valliere, who also presented a very decent form.

Third place went to Josh Wade. Due to his not very symmetrical physique, he has to rely on his excellent preparation, which he managed to bring to Canada.

A great fourth place went to local Joe Seeman, for whom this was a debut start among the elite, having won his pro card with an absolute victory at the attached Toronto Pro Qualifier.
Joe immediately proved to be a legitimate contender as he offered not only solid volume but also a very decent phase!

The Top 5 was rounded out by another newcomer , Quinton Eriya. The home fighter presented himself especially with his excellent physique and narrow waist. He is currently much more subtle compared to the other fighters, but if he gains more kilos of muscle, he will be a very interesting competitor!

Overall results:

1. Jonathan Delarosa
2. Iain Valliere
3. Josh Wade
4. Joe Seeman
5. Quinton Eriya
6. James Hollingshead
7. Robin Strand

8. Matt Kouba
9. Eddie Bracamontes
10. Jonni Shreve
11. Phillip Clahar
12. Jameil Hamilton
13. Leon Eastman

As in the Open category, there were thirteen competitors. However, none of them was the favorite, so we waited to see what names the judges would choose for the first semifinal call.

The lucky winners were finally the six consisting of Steve Benthin, Mahmoud Al Durrah, Mboya Edwards, Prince Boabang, Brett Wilkin and Adolph Quoida.

The first semi-final comparison:

The winner in the end was the latter, Adolph Quoida. For his second start among the elite, the Canadian with Liberian roots put on a full and hard muscle, and a very decent separation.
His domain was excellent quadriceps, which were the adornment of otherwise below average lower legs.

Second place was earned from the judges by Mahmoud Al Durrah, who possesses very pleasing shapes, but his form was a little lacking. If he had come in a bit better form, he would probably have been the one to enjoy the triumph.

The excellent third place went to Prince Boabang, who made his professional debut here. Prince possesses a very nice physique, which is adorned with a narrow waist, and a full, very nicely shaped chest.

Fourth place went to Mboya Edwards. The fighter with an excellent upper half of the body suffers from a weak lower half of the body, which cost him a much lighter placing this time!

Steve Benthin rounds off the top 5.

A record of the entire under 212lb division:
