The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! Or the Arnold Classic again without spectators!

Although we feel really stupid at the moment, the situation around the Arnold Sports Festival is as unfathomable as the newly introduced tax on beer in Czech pubs! No one knows which version will be the valid one!

On Monday, unfortunately, we brought you the news that the world's biggest sports fair, the Arnold Fitness EXPO, has been cancelled. This was due to concerns about the Covid-19 viral illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

However, at that point, the organizers informed the fact that the rest of the festival would take place as scheduled.

However, there was a change from Tuesday to Wednesday. This is because the organisers said that some of the competitions would be cancelled, and those that would take place would have to do without spectators! The only exception was to be the Arnold Classic, where the final part of the competition could be held in the presence of spectators.

However, last night almost everything was different again when the organisers, having discovered that other sporting events in the country were being held without major restrictions and with spectators, approached the authorities to ask that their event be viewed by the same yardstick.

The press release we offered you this morning then talked about the fact that the sports will continue, and friends, families and fans are welcome at the festival!

Well, things are all but different again tonight !

In fact, just a few minutes old, the information states:

The State of Ohio has just issued an ordinance stating that spectators will only be able to attend the Friday and Saturday final nights of IFBB-organized competitions.

According to the state regulation, spectators will no longer be able to attend other sporting events that will be held this weekend.

We will continue to issue further updates as often as possible to keep you informed in a timely manner.

So the situation is completely unclear, and we are all, including the organisers, getting lost in it!
