After seven long years, the heavyweights of Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League have arrived on British soil. Yesterday, on Sunday 30th June, the competition, called The Battle of Britain Pro 2019, took place at the Watford Colosseum.

It was the British Grand Prix of 2012 that was the last one to present the Open category so far. Back then, reigning Mr. Olympia champion Shawn Rhoden walked off the stage as the winner.

On the podium, as mentioned above, were the representatives of the Open category. There were 13 of them, and among them were two Czech representatives, Milan Šádek and Slavoj Bednář. Not only about how these two fighters fared will be the following lines.

Nathan De Asha has been the strongest favourite for the triumph for a long time. However, it was evident on the stage that the other fighters were not in bad shape at all, and so a real !Battle of Britain" took place!
A trio of local fighters - Nathan De Asha, Samson Dauda and James Hollingshead - and one Czech, Milan Šádek, fought for a place in the TOP 3!

The winner was , as expected , Nathan De Asha. He scored his third professional triumph of his career. But this one is very valuable. Nathan, what a home racer could win on British soil after an incredible 23 years! The last time Dorian Yates did it was in 1996!

Nathan offered not only a little more muscle than he had in previous years, but also very valuable muscle maturity. His muscles were also full and very nicely separated.

Second place went to Samson Dauda. His main asset is his perfect body symmetry! He, too, managed to pack extra kilos of muscle mass onto his frame, which puts him in the position of one of the rising stars of professional bodybuilding!

Third place was also taken by a local fighter, namely James Hollingshead. His volumes and muscular maturity were finally preferred by the judges to the symmetry and excellent sculpting of our Milan Šádek.

Milan Šádek took place 4.

Lukas Wyler also squeezed into the Top 5.

Our other competitor Slavoj Bednar finished 8th, when Slovak bodybuilder Igor Illés managed to fight his way to the 7th place.
