Strongmen competed at strongman competition in České Budějovice - report !

We bring you a report from the Golem Bcross Games for strongmen.
The race took place on 2.2. in BcrossGym in České Budějovice, where competitors met for the third time.

Part of the event was also an exhibition battle Jirka Vytiska vs Honza Krasinský !

The whole race was held in a friendly atmosphere. There were 4 disciplines in total. There were 3 weight categories.

80 | 100 | 100+

One of the referees was the aforementioned Jirka Vytiska, who gave the competitors the standards of disciplines and individual exercises before the start of the race.
Then everyone started warming up and it was on!

All disciplines took place at two stations at the same time. It was a very motivating battle for everyone. We kicked it deadlifts with decreasing reps from normal axis, fat to trap bar. The finish was a one rock flip.

Martin Filip (80) did the best, David Zem (100) did the best and unfortunately no one in the open category managed to throw a 130kg stone. There was a limit of 90s for the whole discipline.

This discipline was also passed by the category "BEAST" Jirka Vytiska vs Honza krasinsky, who made the day a great day for fans and competitors and also motivated a lot of people with their performances.
Honza took the victory here and beat Jirka by 7 seconds.

This discipline does not appear much in strongman competitions, that is why we included it in our games. Benchpress on a fat axle. The result of this discipline was a weight lifted in 1 minute. The competitor could determine how much to put on the axle.

Most competitors loaded the set minimum and tried to submit as many reps as possible.

In the category up to 80 kg, Filip Váša won sovereignly, lifting 2.4 tons in 1 minute. On the line he kept the base 80kg, which gave 30!

The brotherly duo really did not lose the "bench" and in the category up to 100kg was Erik Váša! He was able to lift the 100 kg dumbbell 36 times! And with a performance of 3,6t he deserved the first place from this discipline.

In the open category the winner Petr Pastyřík loaded 115kg and pushed it 25 times.

At the end, Jirka and Honza went for it again, going for the max. The base was 100kg and after 20 it went up. Both of them reached 200kg! Honza felt the strength and had himself loaded up to 210, which he pushed with ease.

The third discipline combined loglift and suitcases. Or lift and run three times!

Loglift is a regular discipline and we couldn't miss it this time either.

Martin Květoň, a "crossfit", was the best of the 80s with 22,10s and could fight for the best place in the last discipline. David Zem won the first place in the 100 for the second time. In the open category Jakub Maštalíř took the best time.

After this discipline, Jirka and Honza only had to do with loglift and went to the max again!

Honza is not used to the loglift and yet his PR was 140kg! Which he easily gave, he tried 150. He pushed it, but it wasn't quite in the confident but still a great performance.
Jirka finished with 160kg! He had already had an exhibition at the last competition and showed us how light 170 is.

The last discipline was decisive. It was a fight to the last repetition.

The under 80 kg category had two tires on the car deadlift. Here the order was pretty mixed up and 4 fighters competed evenly for the crate. Petr Reichert and Martin Květon shared the first spot with 29 reps.

Then it was on to the car.

In the category up to 100kg was well prepared David Zem, who went to this discipline conveniently last. He knew that he had to give min 19 reps and the first place is his. He lifted the car 25 times and won the discipline.

For the strongest ones, we added discs to the car and it was on.

Honza Štastný was the first to go, he lifted the car 17 times. Petr Paštyřík knew he had to overcome it if he wanted to take the gold from České Budějovice. Paszta left everything in the last discipline and 3 repetitions later he could enjoy the victory.

The car made a nice show in the end. Because Jirka Vytiska and Honza Krasinský were in the mood and were not afraid to load the car.

They added discs to the trunk and let 4 more big guys sit on the seats. Great show and unreal atmosphere.

Petr Reichert took the 3rd place. The number of 1st and 2nd places from individual disciplines had to be decided. The third place went to Filip.
