Shawn Rhoden has had his first court hearing!
As promised, we continue to follow developments surrounding the case of 2018 Mr. Olympia titleholder Shawn Rhoden, who was accused of rape and sexual assault on Thursday, July 11.
We have also informed you that Shawn completely voluntarily took two lie detector tests, which he came out of as truthful, and denied all guilt in those tests.
He likewise denied all charges against him on Tuesday, July 23, when he had his first court hearing in Salt Lake City, accompanied by the law firm of Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry PLLC!

Commenting on the trial, the law firm of Collins Gann McCloskey & Barry PLLC said:
"Shawn Rhoden had his first court hearing today in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he voluntarily appeared with his attorney. The court hearing was preceded by a negotiation between his legal advisors and prosecutors where bail was reduced from $750,000 to $250,000. The warrant for his arrest was released.
Shawn entered a plea of not guilty. He is represented by attorneys Rick Collins of New York and L. Monte Sleight of Salt Lake City.
Shawn greatly appreciates his fans and supporters, especially those who stand by him during this difficult time. He strongly denies the allegations. He has no statement for the media at this time. He looks forward to being cleared of these false allegations in court."
