Samson Dauda and Blessing Awodibu 8 weeks before their premieres at Mr. Olympia
This year's Mr. Olympia, which will take place in Las Vegas in mid-December, will not only be a battle between the two Mr. Olympia titleholders Mamdouh Elssbiay, who dominated the competition in 2020 and 2021, and Brandon Curry, who won in 2019, but also largely a battle between those who will be competing for the first time at this spectacular event. And there will be no shortage of them! After all, Rafael Brandao, Angel Calderón Frias, Joel Thomas, Mohammad Nsour, Vitor Hugo Boff, Andrew Chinedu, Vladislav Sukhoruchko, Patrick Johnson, Derek Lundsorf, Samson Dauda and Blessing Awodibu will make their Olympia debuts this year.
And it's the last two that we're going to take a closer look at today.
Samson Dauda qualified for this year's Mr. Olympia at the end of last year when he managed to dominate the EVLS Prague Pro 2021 show.

Dauda then donned the competition swimsuit again this year when he stood on the stage of the second most prestigious competition in the world, the Arnold Classic. There he finished fourth, falling to the trio of Brandon Curry, William Bonac and Steve Kuclo.
At the moment, the confidants of the top, recognized and highly sought-after coach Milos Sarchev are about 8 weeks away from his debut on the stage of the biggest, most prestigious and most famous bodybuilding competition in the world, which is the dream of every bodybuilder.
Below you can see what kind of form Samson has these days. Many believe that he will be the absolute best placed of the aforementioned list of newcomers.
Apart from the videos, Samson also sent photos to his coach, the aforementioned Milos Sarchev, who added to them:
Samson Dauda 8 weeks before the competition! Focused, motivated and determined. Oh, I forgot to mention confident and enthusiastic.
Blessing Awodibu qualified for Mr. Olympia earlier this year, thanks to his victory at the 2022 Indy Pro, and then when he also scored a triumph at the prestigious 2022 New York Pro, his confidence skyrocketed and he began to anoint himself as the best rookie of this year's Olympia Weekend.

In addition, he also declared that when he comes face to face with Slovakian giant Michal Krizanek again, it will be him who walks away victorious.
He may have the opportunity to do so at Olympia, if Michal manages to dominate this year's EVLS Prague Pro, which will take place on the last weekend of October.
Below you can watch a trio of videos that capture this fighter over the last few days.
The first of the attached images was taken 9 weeks before the competition, and captures "The BOOGIEMAN", as Blessing's nickname goes, during a leg workout.
The second video shows Blessing 8 weeks before the Olympics during chest training.
The last of the attached videos was taken during Blessing's meeting with seven-time Mr. Olympia titleholder Phil Heath. The latter, who is one of the best bodybuilders on the planet, gave Blessing valuable advice on posing, plus assessed his current form, while mentioning weaknesses that still need to be worked on.
