Samantha Eugenie (63kg/19years) achieved the IPF world record in deadlift with 216kg!

The 2022 IPF World Sub-Junior and Junior Powerlifting Championships were held in Istanbul, Turkey from 27 August to 4 September 2022. Over the past few months, excitement has gradually built up around this competition as everyone was eager to see what it would offer the younger generation of power triathletes. Among the great powerlifting talent, Samantha Eugenie was one of them .

Samantha didn't disappoint, winning the junior raw division in the under 63kg weight class. But that's not all she did, as Samantha also broke the IPF Junior Raw Deadlift World Record.Samantha did just that with a performance of 216 kilograms (476.2 pounds), which is 6 kilograms (13.2 pounds) more than the previous record held by Bernardi Chiara. She pulled a deadlift of 210 kilograms (463 pounds) at the 2021 IPF World Classic Powerlifting Championships.

To be honest, I'm not proud of my performance. I did a lower total than my last test and I know why. I'll do my best to make sure it doesn't happen again. I'm not proud of my total, but I am proud of my title. The main goal was to win and I did.
