Roelly Winklaar will not compete at Mr. Olympia 2020!

Roelly Winklaar, one of the favourites for the top positions in this year's Mr. Olympia competition, which will take place in Florida on 18th and 19th December, will unfortunately not take part in the competition!

As he informed on his Instagram account, he tested positive for the Covid-19 coronavirus in Turkey, where his trip to the USA led!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

It is with an extremely sad and heavy heart that I want to officially announce to all my fans, my supporters, and everyone else in the industry that I will unfortunately not be competing at Mr. Olympia 2020!

While in Turkey, on my trip to the U.S., I tested positive for Covid-19. We tried everything we could, but unfortunately, with a positive test for Covid-19, there is nothing we can do.
I have already developed some symptoms of Covid-19, and I will now focus on making a full recovery.

My trainer Ahmad Askar and I were eager to show you a completely different physique this year, something you have never seen before!
Rest assured though, while I am recovering, we will be working on our plan for 2021!

Thank you to the entire Mr. Olympia team and IFBB Professional League's Jim Manion, who have been there to help us every step of the way. Thank you also to my sponsors and everyone else for their support.

See you in 2021 guys! Peace be with you!
