Rafael Brandao wins Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2021!
Author: Despite the fact that Rafael Brandão, the Brazilian open division bodybuilder, took a break from competing last season, his comeback this year is truly remarkable. In the last competitions we saw him at Europa Pro 2020, where he took third place and qualified for his first Olympia, which he did not attend. However, Rafael decided to show his new and improved form at the EVLS Prague Pro 2021, where he took an amazing second place!
But in just eight days Rafael was already on the stage of another big competition. This time, the Brazilian decided to go to Romania for the Romania Muscle Fest Pro 2021. 24 competitors from different parts of the world came to Bucharest, which meant a really tough competition in a very competitive field. Despite this, Rafael was able to fight his way into the first call-up, which meant that Rafael could fight for the most valuable spots.
During the announcement of the results, Brandão was among the last to stand on the podium, so it was clear that this great competitor had won his first professional victory and qualified for Mr. Olympia 2022, which is thirteen months away. This gives Rafael some time to improve his form in order to fight for the best possible position at the Olympia.

Our Czech competitors - Jan Turek, Pavel Beran and Milan Šádek - also competed in this tough and spectacular show. The most experienced of this trio, Milan, took a great sixth place. Milan was followed by Pavel Beran in thirteenth place and Jan Turek in sixteenth place. Although it looks like our competitors did not get a very good position, it should be made clear that both Pavel and Jan are still inexperienced fighters among the pros who are still gaining their experience. And if we look at Milan's form, we have to admit that it was really great.
Turk's statement:
TODAY, UNFORTUNATELY, OUT OF THE FINAL. The form was not full enough. The long season tired the body and it didn't react as I needed. The season is over. The maximum has been reached. And that was before you at Evls. That was this year's goal. There, the form was ideally full. I thank all the fans and partners for their support, without which I could not have done it. I have new challenges and new goals ahead of me. But now I need to give my body what it needs the most and that is rest from racing. And to devote myself to my family again.
