Qualifying for the Big Summer Games 2020 CrossFit competition is underway!

Our editor and crossfitter Václav Mráz comes to the crossfit scene with more competitions for athletes. During 21 - 23.8.2020 in České Budějovice will be held the sixth edition of the BIG SUMMER GAMES, whose general partner for this year is IGY center. The races will move from the České Budějovice embankment to the roof of the IGY shopping centre.

From Saturday 14.6.2020 athletes can register for the following categories:

• TEAM SPORT 2+1
• ELITE MEN
• ELITE WOMEN
• SPORT MEN
• SPORT WOMEN
• MASTERS MEN

After successful registration, competitors must go through an online qualifier during which they will film a qualifying wod. At this point, 67 competitors are registered for the BSG. competitions out of 140 possible places (athletes + teams). The capacity is therefore almost half full! After the end of the qualification on 22.6.2020 the judges will evaluate the performance of the qualification wod. In the end, only 30 teams, 30 elite man / 10 elite woman, 40 sport man / 20 sport woman and 10 masters athletes will qualify for the final event.

There is also a substantial cash prize for the best competitors!

1. place 12.000 / 8.000,- czk
2. place 9.000 / 6.000,- czk
3. place 6.000 / 4.000,- czk

MASTERS
1. place 6.000,- czk
2nd place 4.000,- czk
3rd place 2.000,- czk

SPORT man / woman
1. place 3.000 / 2000,- czk

category TEAM SPORT
1. place 8.000,- CZK

Material prizes worth 100.000,- CZK for all categories.
