There we interviewed Kuba and found out about what he does for a living and a lot of interesting information. So if you haven't seen it yet, we recommend watching this live interview. Jakub is a great athlete and his results speak for him.
Right after moving to NPC he brought home a pro card and competed in the EVLS Prague Pro 2022. Every bodybuilder we spoke to about Jakub mentioned that he is the hope of Czech bodybuilding and that he is young and his symmetry and muscle density is unreal. On top of that, he is a hard worker and he has simply great qualifications to be one of the best classic physique competitors in our country and we are very happy to bring you another short interview with him.
Jakub Kolinek TOP 6 EVLS Prague Pro 2022

1. Hi Kuba, hats off to you for the form you showed at EVLS Prague Pro 2022. Were you satisfied with your form? Did everything work out as it should?
Hello bodybuilding.com fans, thank you again, and as for the form at EVLS in terms of readiness I think there was some margin... I would say that the form was about 90%, which was mainly due to fatigue, after all, the third competition in a row will exhaust you a little and EVLS PRO was planned more prospective so, in peak week I normally went to work which did not add to my energy but in the end I was satisfied with the form.
2. First time among the pros, how did you feel among the guys, did they take you in at the first time?
Well technically it was my second start in pro, 2 weeks before EVLS I won a PRO card at a fitparade competition in Hungary which allowed me to compete that day among the pros. Peter Molnár was also competing there, which was a great experience to stand next to him on the podium. So later in Prague I already knew some of the guys, the atmosphere was friendly and overall pleasant.
3. You were able to compare yourself with the Czech top riders and in front of the Czech audience, how was the atmosphere and your feelings? Did you enjoy it?
I've been going to EVLS as a spectator for a few years now and it's always been a great race, I've ridden basically the top racers in the PRO league so there's always something to see... and when I got the chance to hitch a ride on the podium this year and experience the atmosphere from the position of a racer I didn't hesitate. and it was worth it EVLS was one of my biggest and most prestigious competitions, moreover on my home soil, although I was the worst of the Czech competitors in my category, but still it was a nice 6th place even though according to the points I should have been 5th, but it doesn't matter, I enjoyed it to the fullest and as a bonus Patrik Hercik won and is the first Czech classic physique at Olympia which is a total blast and I'm rooting for him.

4. Is there anything you changed in your preparation for these races since you went pro?
As I said before, we knew beforehand that the form in terms of readiness would not be 100% due to fatigue etc.. so we decided to pump it up more, come in fuller and bigger overall, which I think worked out pretty well and the form was really full, the muscles were nice and round and hard even if the sharpness and readiness was a bit lacking yet I was happy.
5. Do you have any feedback on what needs to be improved and worked on?
I don't have any feedback directly from the judges... I don't think there was any need for feedback we have a lot to improve and work on. First of all, to catch up a little bit with the weight limit, which I am about 8 kilos short of, so I will try to put on new quality muscles and come next year again a few kilos heavier, so as to maintain the aesthetics and symmetry of the figure, and of course to perfect the form, stage presentation, posing, there is a lot and you can always improve and move on.
6. What are your plans for the future and what can we look forward to?
The plans for the future are still the same every year to improve, set new goals for the upcoming season and step by step to fulfill them, this year the plan was to get a PRO card in NPC which was successful.. so the next goal is to win pro races and qualify for Olympia.
7. Have you already discussed with your coach Milan Obořil where the preparation will go? Directly for which competitions?
We haven't chosen the exact races for next year yet, but there will be some in the autumn part of the season.
8. Thank you very much for your answers and we wish you much success in the future and we will continue to follow your performance!
I thank you and will look forward to the next interview.
