BCAA Synergy reviews from Prom-IN

Prom-IN needs no introduction. Most of us remember the PROMIL brand, which used to be almost the only thing that could be found on the domestic market. Even about ten years ago it was one of the best things the local market had to offer.
But then its star began to diminish, until it became an absolute focal point for all practitioners.

However, this changed with the arrival of Artifex Instant Ltd., which decided to revive the brand and bring it back to the limelight. Under its leadership, not only has the name changed to the current Prom-IN, but it is now one of the most significantly expanding brands that not only has a broad product portfolio, but also a very strong user base that can't get enough of its supplements.

The absolute blockbusters are the Essential Pure CFM proteins, which is currently being replaced by CFM Evolution, and BCAA Synergy, which we're going to take a look at now.

Ingredients

Unlike BCAA Micro Instant Juice and Xtreme BCAA 5000, BCAA Synergy is not pure branched chain amino acids. Besides these, the product also offers two other functional ingredients, namely Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (A-AKG) and L-Glutamine.

Why is this so?

Pavel Samek, who is a consultant for the development of nutritional supplements, wanted a functional supplement that would include not only the BCAAs themselves, but also other ingredients that aid protein synthesis. And that's what A-AKG and L-Glutamine are.

BCAAs are represented in one dose, which is 11 grams, by 4950 mg, with 2420 g of L-Leucine, 1320 g of L-Isoleucine and 1210 g of L-Valine.
Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (A-AKG) is present in the amount of 2970 mg, L-Glutamine 2200 mg.

In addition to these ingredients, the product also contains vitamin B6 to aid absorption, sweeteners sucralose and citroso (neohesperidin E959, which is produced from the peel of bitter oranges), acidity regulator: citric acid, vitamin B6, as well as flavours and colourings.
It should be noted here that Prom-IN colours its products with all-natural colours, namely beetroot, beta-carotene and caramel. The flavourings are sourced from a French company specialising in baby food.
So there are no harmful ingredients to worry about.

Solubility

Since these are instant BCAAs, we can expect the solubility to be excellent. However, here I would dare to write that it is downright excellent! In fact, very few instant BCAAs that I have had the opportunity to try could be mixed without using a shaker. If I tried to stir them in a glass with a spoon, they always formed lumps.
This never happened with BCAA Synergy, and I really only stirred it a few times with a spoon.

You won't find any residue even after drinking it. The mixture dissolves completely and you take the whole dose without any residue.

Flavours

You can buy BCAA Synergy in five flavours. These are Orange, Raspberry, Watermelon, Cherry and now also Cola.

Flavor:

When I wrote for the solubility that it is excellent, for the taste I can't write any less. All of them are really excellent and you would be hard pressed to find a favourite. Well, even though there is actually one favourite now, and that is the newborn Cola. But a little systematically.

Orange flavour. It is such an evergreen among flavors that never disappoints. And even in this case. If you like orange, you won't be disappointed here. I would compare it to Fanta, only in taste, not in composition.

Watermelon flavour: Another flavour you will find in many manufacturers. This one is very specific and interesting. For me personally, one of my favourite flavours.

Raspberry flavor: This flavor is not so much represented on our market anymore, yet some of the manufacturers offer it now and then. It is already a bit sweeter, which may suit some people and not others. Personally, I would put it in the golden middle of my favourites.

Cherry flavour: an even less represented flavour on our market, which is, I dare say, very pleasant. Neither sweet nor sour.

Cola flavor: I have deliberately saved this flavour for last, as I will elaborate on it a bit. This flavour is offered by almost nobody on our market and is therefore very interesting for the end user.
It is, so to speak, a hot new product in the Prom-IN portfolio, which has been on the market for about a month. It can be said that it is, as I said above, a newborn.
And she is indeed such a newborn. You know, a baby is born and it is so cute. He's always being cuddled, he can't take his eyes off him. I had it with this flavor anyway!
As soon as I unwrapped the pixel, and smelled the incredible scent, I was in love. I was looking forward to cuddling with it, I mean tasting it. Compared to the taste, the smell was nothing, just a light breeze. The taste is just great and indescribable!

Some compare it to the original Coca Cola. I would say the same thing. If someone put two glasses in front of me, one containing the aforementioned Coca Cola in its Zero version, and the other containing BCAA Synergy in the Cola flavor, I would hardly know the difference. And that's of course even after consumption.

I did try sprinkling a 500 mg capsule of Vitamin C 500 into them, this took the taste even higher. Really bomb!

I would describe this flavour as a hit and miss, which as one of the best selling items in our e-shop only proves it.
I think that for warm spring and summer days, this flavor combined with ice will be a definite best seller!

Final rating

Pros:

• Optimal amount of BCAAs (almost 5 g) in one serving
• Presence of other functional ingredients such as A-AKG and L-Glutamine
• Absolutely great solubility
• Five delicious flavours, among which the Cola flavour reigns supreme

Minuses:

• I have nothing to criticize. Maybe some will grumble that these are not pure BCAAs, and Synergy contain a lot of unnecessary ballast. However, I don't think so, and for protein synthesis, thus even better absorption, ingredients like A-AKG and L-Glutamine are beneficial.
