Musclecontest FitPira Pro brought a great spectacle and a great comeback! Results and report

One of the competitions that took place during the first weekend of November was the Musclecontest FitPira, which took place from November 4 to 6 in the Brazilian city of Piracicaba in the state of Sao Paulo. As the more highly regarded Europa PRO was running at the same time in terms of qualification points, the European competitors preferred this event. Nevertheless, the Brazilian competition offered a great spectacle and a great comeback, which was led by Eduardo Correa.

Men's Open category

Even though not too many fighters competed in the royal category, there was definitely something to watch and the well-prepared competitors did not do anything to each other. Probably the biggest draw was Stanislas DeLongeaux, who goes by the nickname Stanimal on social media. He trained with the legendary Shawn Rhoden back in the day and made his way among the heavyweights first through men's physique and classic physique. Despite his top form, he had to settle for second place as the winner was Leandro Peres, who will add to the already large list of Brazilian bodybuilders at the prestigious Mr. Olympia competition. Third place went to Vitor Lima, another Brazilian who, although he received his pro card in 2018, only made his professional debut this year.

The overall standings are as follows:

Leandro Peres

Categories up to 212 pounds

In the under 212 pound category, the biggest draw was clearly veteran Eduardo Correa, who was the silver medalist in the under 212 pound category at Olympia in 2014. But the truth is that this handsome man has been through a series of injuries and has only been seen on the podium five times in the last 6 years. However, he was in fine form in front of his home crowd and left the other competitors behind, so he'll be looking to compete again at December's Mr. Olympia after eight years. Second place went to Douglas Silva and third place went to Vitor Porto.

The overall standings are as follows:
