Musclecontest Brazil Pro 2022 - the fight for the triumph as newcomers!

From 24th to 26th June, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil hosted the Musclecontest Brazil Pro 2022 professional competition, where both direct advancement and valuable points for the qualification rankings for this year's Olympia Weekend were contested in both main men's categories.
Through the next few lines, let's take a look together at which fighters fared well here.

Open category:

A total of ten fighters stood before the judges in the royal category, including Douglas Silva, who earned his pro card by winning the attached amateur event outright.

Although there were no well-known competitors on the podium, this was by no means an indication that this was going to be a not very attractive contest. On the contrary, none of the competitors were disgraced!

However, only two riders, Wellington Fernando and Vitor Hugo Boff, who are just starting their professional careers, were fighting for the victory from the very beginning. Both of them had the opportunity to go among the elite for a long time, but they didn't want to rush anything, they continued to compete among amateurs, gaining more and more experience, working on their characters, and only when they were sure that they had the skills to compete with the professional top, that is, they were able to win the ticket among the elite for the second time, they decided to transfer.

Vitor Hugo Boff had a slight edge over his rivals, as he made his professional debut on the last day of April this year at the Arnold Classic Brazil 2022, where he finished a close second to Rafael Brandao.

Vitor was a bit more powerful than Wellington, but he could benefit from his perfect final readiness!

In the end, the judges sided with Boff, who again benefited from the fullness, roundness and perfect separation of his upper body muscles, which allowed him to take the victory in his second professional start!

The second place went to Wellington Fernando, whose asset is his perfect physique and excellent preparedness. He has made his presence known, and it is certain that he has what it takes to fight for the top positions in future events.

Third place went to William Martins. Although he is one of the best prepared fighters, unfortunately he is the owner of a not very attractive physique.
Bruno Oliveira Santos earned the fourth place from the judges, while Douglas Silva, mentioned in the introduction, also made it into the Top 5.

Categories up to 212 pounds:

Nine fighters competed in the under 212 pound division, with more than half of them making their debut among the elite. The biggest favorite to win was Jafar Ghaffar Nezhad, for whom this was his seventh professional start, with the six previous ones never going without a medal. He managed to turn two starts into wins, two into second place, and two into third place!

As Nezhad presented a really excellent form here as well, he was able to claim his third professional victory without too much trouble. Whether he will take part in the 212 Olympia 2022 is a question, however, as it will be important for him to get the visa needed to travel to the USA, which as we know has been quite a tough nut to crack the last few years.

Second place in his professional debut went to Muzi Maluleke, with third place going to Andrei Pereira, who moved up from the Classic Physique category.
