Muscle Mayhem Pro 2018 - results

On Saturday, June 9th, the next edition of the Muscle Mayhem Pro, a professional competition promoted by Chad Nicholls, a highly respected pre-competition specialist, took place in Kansas City, Missouri's largest city.

Fifteen fighters were on the stage, with Akim Williams being the biggest favourite to win, having only lost to Juan Morel in Toronto the week before and finishing second.

It was no surprise at all when Akim appeared in the first semi-final call-up, with Gerald Williams, Rafael Brandao, Charles Griffen, Michael Lockett and Max Charles on his side.

The trio of Akim Williams, Max Charles and Charles Griffen were then reunited in the last semi-final comparison, a clear indication that they were the ones to emerge victorious.

That was Charles Griffen, who took his maiden victory among the elite. Charles benefited in particular from perfect upper body development. Unfortunately, the lower half of the body was just a hair behind, which is why, according to some, the aforementioned Akim Williams should have been the winner.

The second place, as in Toronto, went to Akim Williams. He was not only powerful this time, but also offered a very good final preparation, even better than he did last weekend. He thus gave a much more comprehensive overall impression than the victorious Griffen.

Third place went to Max Charles. The most powerful fighter of the starting field was losing to his rivals especially in terms of preparedness.

A very respectable fourth place went to the subtle, yet eye-pleasing Rafael Brandao.

The last one to enter the Top 5 was Michael Lockett, who recently underwent gynecomastia surgery, which greatly spoiled his presentation. Michael is starting to see more and more difference between his massive upper and more subtle lower half of his body.
