Mr. Olympia 2022 semifinal on-line results - Michal Križánek made it to the 2nd round!

The top event of the bodybuilding competition year is finally here and after Shaun Clarida dominated the 212lb category, the semi-final fights in the Open heavyweight category where the start list was really bursting at the seams. The biggest star of the night was of course Big Ramy, the defending champion from last year. But he could have been beaten by Hadi Choopan, Brandon Curry or even Slovak giant Michal Križánek. We've been following the developments for you.

Surprisingly, Samson also appeared in the first invocation. The opening performance of individual competitors offered a really great spectacle and the well prepared athletes were a joy to watch. Michal Križánek also showed great form, who certainly did not lose his volumes in the packed starting field. Unfortunately, not all the giants could make it to the first call, so the judges had a very difficult choice.

Surprisingly, the British Samson Dauda was also in the first call-up and showed really excellent form. As expected, he was joined by Hadi Choopan, Brandon Curry, Big Ramy, Nick Walker and Derek Lunsford, who only this year moved up from the 212lb category. The huge surprise, however, was that Big Ramy was not standing in the middle of the favored competitors as expected, but was on the fringe.

Michal Krizanek is currently in his second call-up, where he appeared alongside Hunter Labrada. Along with them, Andrew Jacked, Rafael Brandao and William Bonac were also in the second election. It should be noted, however, that Križák's form yesterday was much better than today according to some experts, as he looks slightly watery on stage and his colour is again not quite 100%.

The third callout then cast Patrick Johnson, James Hollingshead, Charles Griffin, Justin Rodriguez and Akim Williams. Surprisingly at this point, there is still no mention of Blessing Awodibu, who looks incredible. However, it's true that there hasn't been any significant movement for him since the last race, so he'll have to settle for 4th callout, even though he's standing in the middle.
