Kevin Levrone - exhibition at NPC Baltimore 2018

Kevin Levrone was once one of the absolute top of professional bodybuilding. After all, two victories at the Arnold Classic (1994 and 1996) and four second places from Mr. Olympia (1992, 1995, 2000 and 2002) speak for themselves.

Then when he announced his comeback the year before last at the age of 50, which was to take place at Mr. Olympia 2016, it was literally a bombshell! Some even spoke of him as one of the few who could dethrone reigning champion Phil Heth.

Unfortunately, however, no fantastic event took place. Kevin not only failed to come in form enough to threaten Phil, but he didn't even threaten any of the other competitors! He therefore took joint 16th place.

He took a break for over a year to appear on the competition stage again this year, at the Arnold Classic Australia. Here, he was a little more powerful than he was at the Olympia, but in much worse shape. So he didn't impress much here either.

Before his start, however, he announced that this would be the last competitive performance of his career.

On Saturday, 24 March, he appeared on stage once more, but not as a competitor. In fact, he made an exhibition appearance at the 2018 NPC Baltimore Gladiator Championships amateur competition.
