Kai Greene - exhibition in Toronto
With three second place finishes at the world's most prestigious Mr. Olympia competition in 2012, 2013 and 2014, three wins at the world's second most prestigious competition, the Arnold Classic, in 2009, 2010 and 2016, and a total of 11 professional triumphs, Kai Greene is phenomenal!
Kai, who for many years was considered the only real threat to the now seven-time Mr. Olympia titleholder Phil Heath, has been on the sidelines since 2016, the last time he stood on the podium (it was at the Arnold Classic Brasil, where he won).
He's been training, working on his supplement brand Dynamik Muscle, publishing training E-books, and every now and then he'll do a show. However, he avoids the competition stage as such!
Will we ever see him competing again? Will he ever again become a threat to Phil Heath, Mamdouh Elssbiay, Shawn Rhoden and other top names in the current scene? No one, except perhaps Kai himself, knows.
All we can offer at the moment is Kai's current form. That's because he showed it off this past weekend during his exhibition performance at the 2018 Toronto Pro Supershow.
And as we've come to expect from him, it was acrobatics once again.
