Julius Maddox bench pressed 361 kg (796 lbs)!
Powerlifter Julius Maddox currently holds the world bench press record of 355 kilograms (782 pounds), which he set in February 2021 at the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) Hybrid Showdown III event. Julius recently put on another amazing performance when he shared an impressive feat on his Instagram on May 10 - he actually bench pressed 361 kilograms (796 pounds)!
But it's still not enough for this strongman, as he has clearly written in his diary that his goal is 800lbs! This will be the third time for Maddox to push 800lbs. The first time he tried to lift that weight was in June 2020. His next attempt was on June 10, 2021 only to fail again so he's hoping for a third attempt.
And in the video below, you can see how this strongman lightly pushed 355 kilograms (782 pounds) in training. What do you think, can he lift that cursed 800lbs?
