Johnnie Jackson returns to the competition stage! He won't be missing from the 2020 Arnold Classic stage!
For some time now, we have been following the fighters who will compete in Columbus on Saturday, March 7, at the 32nd edition of the prestigious Arnold Classic. So far, "Tiny" Mamdouh "Big Ramy" Elssbiay has offered us the most material. The aesthetic Patrick Moore also showed his form.
Johnnie Jackson
When the start list for the prestigious 2020 Arnold Classic appeared earlier this year, many were surprised to see the name Johnnie Jackson on it.
The Texan, who has been training at the renowned METROFLEX GYM for many years and forms a HARDCORE training duo with Branch Warren, last took to the competition podium in 2017!
So many were waiting to see if Johnnie would actually prepare for competition or if he would not return from competition retirement. The first option is correct, and Johnnie has gone straight into preparation!
And what kind of preparation would it be if Branch Warren was missing, right? So it's clear that it's going to be a hard slog of sweat, blood, screaming and rattling iron once again!
Lionel Beyeke
Equipped with abnormal genetics, Lionel Beyeke was destined to have his name indelibly etched in bodybuilding history. Had he added superior finishing to his genetics, it might have happened long ago. But.... he is unfortunately not one to impress with his form, so he has had to settle for relegation from the top ranks so far.
Will he be able to repair his reputation this year? Can he fight for the top positions in a really strong competition? That is the big unknown for now. Until we find out, we can watch a couple of his training videos.
Sergio Oliva Jr.
Another fighter with high expectations is the son of the legendary Sergio Oliva, three-time Mr. Olympia winner in 1967, 1968 and 1969, Sergio Oliva Jr.
He has teamed up with another icon of the sport, Chris Cormier, to prepare for this year's prestigious competition. Jrom Chris, like many of his colleagues, also relies on the advice of pre-contest preparation specialist Chris Aceto.
Patrick Moore
At the beginning of this article I mentioned aesthetic racer Patrick Moore. He offers us his form today, through a pair of the attached photos.
At last year's Mr. Olympia, Patrick looked like a phenomena from the late 80s and early 90s, offering an incredibly symmetrical physique and excellent posing! The only thing he lacked was competitive volume.
It is with slightly improved volumes, which should not affect his symmetry and wasp waist, that he would like to present himself at the first competition of this season!
