Jirka Tkadlcik absolutely dominated South America!

As you already know from us, last weekend the Arnold Classic South America sports festival took place in South America, which included a strongman competition. Our most famous strongman Jiří Tkadlčík presented himself in full glory. He managed to dominate the category up to 105 kilograms!

Although he could have enjoyed his time off, Jiri decided to compete again on Sunday, when the competition in the category over 105 kilograms was held without any weight difference. And he did very well here too!

Although Jirka himself said that he did not hope for a good placing, his performance was like something out of a dream, and he made a mess even of these heavyweights!

The first discipline was a triple combination of carrying a 150 kg sandbag, carrying a 120 kg barrel and finally carrying two 140 kg suitcases.
Jirka handled it quite handily, and fought his way into the Top 5!

Jirka himself commented on this discipline:

I am in the top 5 of 20 competitors in the OPEN at the Arnold Classic South America on the first discipline!

I did not disgrace myself! Bag 150kg, barrel 120kg, suitcases 140kg!!!

We're going for the deadlift with 300kg!

Oh, and they're telling me I'm the animal that won at 105kg - I'm happy about that!

First discipline (video):

The second discipline, as Jirka mentioned above, was the deadlift with 300kg. Jirka was able to lift this weight nine times, thus dominating this discipline by one repetition!

To this result Jirka adds:

9 x 300kg deadlift in one minute!!! I am the winner of the discipline and it also puts me in the OPEN among the giants in total FIRST PLACE! And it's my max!

Other top performances were 8 reps or less..

Yeah!!! I'm happy, I'm going to enjoy this moment!!! And we're going to loglift 140kg for reps. Legs are already shot, but I'll do something!!! Let's see how it goes... but the first intermediate is damn incredible for me after Friday!!!

Second discipline (video):

The third discipline was Log Lift with 140 kilograms. Jirka did five of them, which made him dominate this discipline as well!

Jirka commented on the discipline by saying:

5 x 140kg on the Log Lift!!!! I still hold the first place in OPEN and the last discipline awaits me: atlases!!!

It will be a fight!!!

The last discipline was to move the Atlas stones weighing 120, 130, 140 and 150 kg to different platforms, all on time. Jirka, just like in the first discipline, placed in the TOP 5!

Jirka's words after this result were:

Euphoria!!! The last discipline - atlases. I have no idea what time I had, but they are talking about TOP 5 and thus TOP 3 overall!

IN OPEN! Do you get it?! Top 3!!!

The announcement is coming soon, but it is sure that I will take the second medal from Arnold with the gold medal from u105kg!!!

Jirko's results finally brought him a great second place and thus a silver medal!

For his performances he was finally declared the overall winner of the strongman competitions at the Arnold Classic South America!

On this phenomenal result Jirka said:

I am SILVER AT ARNOLD CLASSIC AMATEUR OPEN SOUTH AMERICA!!!

After Friday's gold medal from my u105kg category, today I added SILVER FROM THE OPEN from the giants and I was also judged the best Arnold Classic strongman athlete with another gold medal from the organizer!!!

Call me Ester Ledecka...

I can't believe it. But when I do, I'll tell you all about it... I made my dream come true. Big dream.
I chased the giants in 3 of the 4 events and won two!

3x Arnold Classic winner 3x Arnold Classic 2nd place and a GOLD for top athlete! That hat trick didn't last me very long, what do you think?
