Jiri Tkadlcik wins bronze at the Arnold Classic Sevilla 2022!

Last weekend, our best Czech strongman in the 105kg division, Jiri Tkadlcik, competed at the Arnold Classic Sevilla 2022. For those of you who don't know, Jiri has been dealing with injuries over the past year that have kept him out of competition. Eventually, however, I was able to heal the injury and he was able to get back into racing mode. During the end of July you could even see an interview with Jirka in our magazine, in which he talked about his problems.

Before the race, Jirka attended a training camp in Lithuania, to which he commented as follows:

We finished the weekend in Lithuania with a training session with @savickas_bigz?? I am grateful for these training sessions, new experiences and new experiences.

Žydrūnas has always been one of the legends of strongman sport for me, so I would go to training with him half dead, but the truth is that the two weekend competitions of pairs and singles were quite a lot for the body, and more for the head. Not that I got injured directly, but the risks for me were far beyond what I wanted to take. A year at home is a year at home, and since I have at least 3 more big international u105kg races this year, the highlights of the season.. so no point in taking risks here.

Now we have a long car ride home, tomorrow the last hard training and on Thursday I fly to Spain for two Arnold Classic u105kg races.

My race, my category. I definitely want to attack gold at the Arnold this weekend and expand my medal collection. I'll be glad if you'll be there.

And it was at the Arnold Classic Sevilla 2022 that Jirka managed to win a great third place!

I take the bronze at the Arnold Classic Sevilla 2022 in the category up to 105kg. This badge was missing in my collection.

I gave it my best and I'm very happy that I'm in one piece, my back doesn't hurt, I enjoyed it and as I say: I'm back!

And even without my disciplines I can fight.

During this week you can look forward to an interview with Jirka, in which you can find out how the training camp in Lithuania was and how he evaluates his result at the Arnold Classic Sevilla 2022.
