Jiří Tkadlčík "There is no easy way"
Hello bodybuilding readers, Swaglift is here again after a long time with another episode of the motivational series, this time the 10th anniversary episode.
Today's video interview is again in the spirit of heavyweights and my guest is none other than Jiri Tkadlcik, Czech strongman and powerlifter, who is probably the most prominent personality among Czech strength athletes, especially strongmen, in his weight and category up to 105 kg. Jirka has the greatest potential and ambition to succeed at international competitions, where he often travels during the year and can be said to be a Czech pioneer in this respect. He also belongs to Ben Cristov's barbarians and performed for example in the successful video "Těžký Váhy", which definitely belongs to Jirka. :)

I have perceived Jirka as a strength athlete for a long time, probably few people from this environment would not have noticed his performances,
or seen his videos with often unprecedented or even "crazy" feats, for example: climbing the stairs of Letensky with weights, or running across the square of Václavské náměstí carrying strongman suitcases. Jirka's competition maximums are of course excellent. I met Jirka for the first time in 2010, at my then long last competition in powerlifting in Trutnov.
In the 5 years since we hadn't seen each other, Jirka has made a giant leap forward, in short (in my opinion), he has turned from a young guy "amateur" with a decent lifting, to a "pro" with a clear vision and huge potential, especially in strength.

Even when we arranged the shoot long in advance, it was clear to me that Jirka was one of the most suitable candidates for this, and I was looking forward to the shoot. Jirka's situational humour and insight that accompanies his training sessions is something you simply have to experience :), if you don't have this opportunity, just watch a couple of his training or competition video blogs.
Working with people is simply evident in Jirka, and I can't imagine that he would leave anyone feeling like a "fake fighter". He's a huge hard worker and also a cool guy who motivates hundreds of people and helps them to exceed their best. If you've recently come across a person who you doubted if he is in real life as you see him on the internet, I can tell you for myself that Jirka really is and this guy is definitely not playing at anything and he doesn't need to.

Jiri Tkadlcik, and his (for me a bit crazy) "Avenger" style of training, his multitasking in other sports, and viral speech may not fit. But Jiri is one of the few people who go hard for his dream, and he really deserves the support of people on the outside. Jirka is basically already living his dream, but the road to his goal of becoming a professional strength athlete is really very hard and thorny.
I wish Jirka, and I believe most of you too, to reach his desired goal and to be able to secure 100% what he lives for.
And if it ever does happen that he doesn't reach his goal... I think he is exactly the kind of person who can stand up proudly and say "But I gave it my all".
I could write a lot more about Jirka, but the most important things you can learn from the video interview, which you can watch below this editorial. Watch this promising athlete who lives for what he believes in, and knows well what it means to live his own life and how important it is to make the world around us, and help those around us, better. Watch videos with Jirka and he will prove to you all that "there is no easy way". ;)
