Jiří Procházka outpointed Dominick Reys in the second round!
Czech MMA fighter Jiri Prochazka made his second start in the most prestigious MMA organization UFC in Las Vegas early this morning. In this fight he managed to outpoint the American Dominick Reyes. He managed to knock him out in the second round with an elbow from the turn!
Jirka presented himself in the main match of the evening. Reyes got in a few hard kicks early on, hitting his opponent better over the first two minutes. As the first round wore on, however, the Czech Samurai began to take over more often. It was almost unreal how firmly Procházka went for his goal, even though he was landing a lot of hard punches.
The American then took the duel to the ground, but the Czech puncher very quickly got back into position. Then, halfway through the first, Denisa landed a great hook that dropped his opponent and started chasing him around the cage. Still, even Destroyer was still able to hit accurately from the retreat. Some awesome exchanges were to be seen until the end of the first round.

The calmest phase of the fight was the beginning of the second five minutes. The following minutes were even more challenging. Procházka started to push his opponent again and it looked like everything was heading towards the final blow. However, the Czech entered the middle of the second round a bit rattled after another hard jab from Reyes' repertoire.
Subsequently, the American fighter tried to tighten the guillotine from the stand-up and the situation was not looking so rosy for the Czech fighter again. But he managed to handle the situation and even managed to breathe a sovereign conclusion. After a short tug-of-war on the ground, both opponents returned to the stance, where half a minute before the end of the second act Procházka literally shut down his rival with a massive elbow from the turn.

In doing so, he not only scored a second round TKO victory, but also a $100,000 bonus for his performance of the night. In addition, he moved closer to a title fight for the welterweight belt. In fact, organization president Dana White let it be known before the fight that the winner of the bout deserved a title shot!

On this account, Jirka said immediately after the win:
Really? All right, let's do it. I just want to say that my journey in the UFC is awfully fast and I'm not enjoying it as much as I would like to, but I'm ready. I deserve it!
Nice fight, I wanted to show the beauty of the fight and the art. I just show it too recklessly sometimes and get hit and make mistakes. I'm still learning. The elbow? Instinctive. I didn't have a lot of time to think about the plan after I took something from Dominick, but I tuned in perfectly and when I got the opportunity, I thought, yeah, a spinning elbow, why not...
That's why I have the antenna on my head, to pick up ideas like that.

Polish welterweight champion Jan Blachowicz immediately reacted to Jirka's win and statement, taking to social media to accept the fight saying:
Hey Jiri, you and me in Těšín. Prince against samurai, sword against katana!
What do the elite fighters from the UFC think about Prochazka?
Derrick Lewis - heavyweight:
Well, good luck to all of you at welterweight against Prochazka!
Daniel Cormier - former heavyweight champion, now one of the experts on the UFC:
This guy is like an avalanche coming down, he just runs them over. He uses his cardio as a weapon, has a fantastic chin and finishing instincts. I'm excited about him!
Kamaru Usman - Welterweight Champion
Madness!
But it's no surprise to see such reactions. Walker's elbow drop from a spinning back elbow is only the third such in UFC history!
