Jim Manion's IFBB Professional League Calendar for 2021

As it was in the past years, we offer you the calendar of scheduled events of the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League.

The 2021 schedule was published by the IFBB Jim Manion Professional League management at the end of last year and was updated on Wednesday 27 January. Despite this, many competitions still do not have their dates on it. Why this is so is very simple. There is still the worldwide pandemic of the Covid-19 coronavirus, which rather mercilessly waved off last season, when a number of contests were cancelled, others were moved in terms of date, and others changed their location.

The current calendar does not yet include the prestigious North American Arnold Classic, which is held annually in March, or the equally prestigious New York Pro, which has always been held in May, except for last year. Even the pinnacle of the pros, the Olympia Weekend, which has always been held in September/October, and last year took place in December, also has no fixed date for this year so far.

So everything will be added on the fly as the pandemic develops and the restrictions it will require in each state.

Olympia Weekend Qualifiers

Again this season, those who qualify for the Olympia Weekend are:

• placed in the Top 5 at the previous Olympia
• have won the competitions held prior to the Olympia Weekend
• are ranked within the top 3 in the qualification rankings

Qualification level of the competition

Again this year, individual placings are scored differently, taking into account the prestige of the event. Points will be awarded according to the following key:

Qualification level 1 competition

• 2nd place = 10 points
• 3rd place = 9 points
• 4th place = 8 points
• 5th place = 7 points

Qualification Level 2 Competition

• 2nd place = 8 points
• 3rd place = 7 points
• 4th place = 6 points
• 5th place = 5 points

3rd Qualification Level Competition

• 2nd place = 6 points
• 3rd place = 5 points
• 4th place = 4 points
• 5th place = 3 points

Qualifying Level 4 Competition

• 2nd place = 4 points
• 3rd place = 3 points
• 4th place = 2 points
• 5th place = 1 point
